Mashed Potatoes
1 Pound Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled 1/4 Cup whole milk 3 Tablespoons butter Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions Take your potatoes, and cut them into about half to ¾ inch cubes. Put them into a large pot, and fill the pot with water until the potatoes are covered by about 2-3 inches of water. Cover and heat until boiling. Once the water is boiling, remove the lid (if you don't, it will boil over) and then cook until you can easily cut them with a fork. Remove from heat, drain, and transfer to a bowl. Use a potato masher, or if you want, the paddle attachment on your stand mixer, mash the potatoes together with the butter and milk. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve immediately.
