Hi! My name is Blake Stokes. I’m a 16 year old high school student who has always loved food, but about six years ago, I discovered that I also love to make it. My first real dish was Eggs Benedict, and I know what you are thinking, it was a pretty crazy choice. My dad summed it up perfectly when he asked me if shouldn’t we start with scrambling the eggs instead of poaching them. We did it anyway, and I haven’t looked back. My goal is to one day own my own restaurant where I am the chef.This blog is the next step towards that goal. On this site I am going to track my attempts to make some of my favorite professional chef’s recipes, some that I create, and reviews of new equipment that I get along the way.Join me!
